Welcome to the last episode of the Writing in the Margins series!
I started this project a few months ago wanting to explore how normal people like me, with a full-time job and a busy life, still manage to make the time to write and produce some amazing content.
I created and posted 15 posts, for YouTube, Medium, and my newsletter on Substack.
This might not seem like that much to some people, but personally I am amazed that I managed to post this much, considering how chaotic my life has been during this time.
To be completely honest, I actually bulk-produced most of my content at the beginning of this project, when I was riding a massive wave of motivation that kept me awake late at night and made me get out of bed at 5 in the morning to write and film.
But then I kept up the editing and scheduling and eventually, I accomplished what I had planned and more.
In the Writing in the Margins project, I explored many aspects of what following your passion while leading a busy life entails.
One thing I’ve been mentioning, but that I might not have stressed enough, is that it’s also ok to realise that your passion might have to wait. And that’s totally fine.
It’s also ok if your passion shifts. I love writing, but I also love running, cooking, meditating, and hanging out with my dog. And that’s what I’ve been mostly doing these days, outside of my working hours.
I’m going to take a little break from writing — and I do so with a happy heart.
So, this is the last episode for now. I’m hoping to be back at some point, but for now, I’ll be focusing on some of my other vocations.
It’s been a pleasure to share this journey with you, and I hope it’s been helpful to you in some way.
